Description
The rose of Jericho (Selaginella Lepidophylla) is a plant that can dry out completely, can stay in that condition for years, and can still fold open completely within a few hours and turn green again. The flourishing of the rose of Jericho goes as follows; Pour her with cold, warm, hot, or even boiling water. There will be new life in the lifeless leaves. After a few hours the rose has become beautifully full and green. Place the rose a plate and give her fresh water every day. The rose of Jericho may only stay moist for 8 days (lay dry and warm). After about 2 days, the rose is completely dried again, so that this spectacle can always be repeated.
