Delphinium (Ridderspoor): Ranke bunches of blue flowers
The blue flower clusters of the Delphinium are enchanted. Combine them with other blue flowers or make a colorful garden bouquet! Delphinium belongs to the Ranonkel family (Ranunculaceae). The flower is said to be named after Delphi, where the oracle of Apollo lived. Or does the name refer to the Greek word "Delphis", which means dolphin? With a lot of fantasy you can see dolphins in the flower buds. Depending on the species, the plant can reach almost two meters high. In the summer, slender bunches of flowers appear. Each flower has a trace backwards. That explains the Dutch name: Ridderspoor.
Summer blue knight traces of knights are loved for their blue tones (from soft baby blue to deep dark blue) that give the flower an up-to-and-top summer look. In addition, there are also beautiful pink and white knights.
DELPHINIUM Ridersproers care tips are beautiful in summer bouquets with a romantic appearance - as if the bouquet has just been picked from an English cottage garden. The usual care tips for summer flowers apply to Delphiniums. Remove the lower leaves so that there is no leaf hanging in the water. With a clean, sharp knife, cut a piece of the stems and put the flowers in a clean vase with clean water and cut flower food.
