Matthiola de Matthiola fits well with the cheerful, challenging and exciting of spring. The refined flower, also called Violier, eagerly welcomes spring with the gray -green leaves, stuffed flower bunches and sweet light -spicy scent.
Mediterranean Matthiola originally dates from the Mediterranean countries and is named after Pierandra Mattioli (15-1577), an Italian personal physician of Maximilian II of Austria and writer of various medicines and botanist works. The flower is an excellent raiser in (romantic) bouquets because of the white and the pastel colors. The purple and dark red flowers give a field bouquet that robust character.
Care with the right care can stay beautiful for the Matthiola for up to twelve days. Of course you cut a piece of the stems, remove the lower leaves and put the bouquet in clean water with cut flower food. You should avoid drafts, full sun and fruit. Do you want a seductive and romantic bouquet? Indicate with your florist that you want Matthiolas or violins in the bouquet!
Symbolism The Matthiola has no symbolic meaning.
The Violier or Matthiola gives a wonderful scent and is for sale for an increasingly longer period.
